Taught by Maestro Donald Schleicher (Northwestern University), this 6-day intensive course takes place in beautiful Boston, Massachusetts. The course includes 60+ minutes of video-recorded podium time with professional musicians, and will focus on artistic music-making, communicating music, and rehearsal technique. The course includes profession of conducting classes and guest lectures from Boston-based conductors and arts leaders. Dr. Silas Huff (Northern Illinois University), will be assisting and leading focused sessions. Only 15 active conductors will be accepted (first consideration goes to students who apply by February 1, 2025).
